NAIROBI, Kenya (Planet Defence) - The 4th Partnership for Aflatoxin Control Platform Meeting has commenced in Nairobi, Kenya, with the primary goal of evaluating the current status of aflatoxin control across the continent and devising innovative strategies for a comprehensive continental approach.
Kenyan government officials, the African Union Commission, and AUDA-NEPAD, supported by USAID and the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa, have collaborated on this continental initiative to streamline aflatoxin control efforts.
Under the theme "A Decade of Aflatoxin Control – Reflecting on the Past and Defining the Future of Aflatoxin Control in Africa," the 4th PACA PPM sets the stage for critical discussions and planning sessions.
The partnership platform has attracted a diverse range of participants, including academics, researchers, planning experts, and non-state actors.
